The Latin Store represents hard work, commitment and passion. It is the brain child of two sisters who wanted to share the colour and diversity of Latin America with the Australian public. Our shop is located in Newtown, NSW and we specialise in traditional Latin American arts and crafts.
We began trading in 2003 and from the beginning, we have endeavoured to provide a friendly, personal and caring service to our customers. We believe that every item in our store tells a story about the skill and dedication of the artisan who created the product. Each item symbolises the dream to communicate the uniqueness of Latin America. We source our products from various countries, including Chile, Peru, Argentina, Ecuador and Mexico.
The people who design our products are simple, hard working individuals, like Edwin below, from Peru who skilfully creates our gourd ornaments.
